Our story
For nearly ten years, I worked in the demanding field of corporate finance. It was a structured, rigorous environment where I learned a great deal. Yet, a deep need grew within me: to create something more personal, more gentle, something that truly reflected me.
Upon becoming a mother of three, I naturally began searching for clothes for them: simple, beautiful, well-made, and reasonably priced. But I was often disappointed. The pieces were sometimes lovely, but overpriced… or affordable, but lacking charm or quality.
One day, while tidying a small pile of clothes carefully passed down among my children, I had an epiphany. What if I created the wardrobe I was searching for myself? A children’s wardrobe that is timeless, well-designed, charming without being excessive, and above all, carefully crafted. Clothes that transcend seasons like memories.
That day, I decided to leave the world of numbers for fabrics. To turn a page and write a new one: that of Voyage de la Baleine.
A longing for elsewhere, a solid foundation
The Basque Country, where I live, inspires me daily with its simplicity and authenticity. But it was through travel, particularly in Spain and Portugal, that I discovered a style dear to my heart: elegant, timeless, warm… and accessible, without compromising on quality.

🇮🇪 In Ireland, it was the incomparably high-quality merino wool sweaters that won my heart – perfect for enveloping little ones in softness and warmth.
Piece by piece, I selected each model with particular attention. Always guided by the same idea: to offer clothing that has meaning, style, but never anything superfluous. Clothes that we love, that we keep, that we pass down.

Voyage de la Baleine was born this way: gently, but with a clear desire. To offer a refined, sincere, and accessible wardrobe. Each piece is chosen from the heart, in accordance with three founding values:

I followed a thread: that of my desires, my children, and a dream I finally decided to take seriously. This is how Voyage de la Baleine was born: a children’s wardrobe, refined and sincere, designed to accompany the precious little moments of childhood, with softness and authenticity.

At the heart of a shared vision
Our name “Voyage de la Baleine” evokes both the idea of a sea voyage, full of adventure and discovery, and the symbolism of the whale, a majestic animal that embodies strength, tranquility, and wisdom.
We wanted our boutique’s name to reflect the idea of a journey through the lives of our little ones, where each garment we offer accompanies them on their own journey, providing them with comfort, elegance, and softness. Furthermore, the whale represents for us a deep connection with nature and a reminder of the importance of caring for our environment for future generations.
By choosing this name, we hope to convey the same sense of calm and well-being one feels when observing a whale gliding peacefully through the waters, as well as the idea of a journey full of adventures and wonders to discover.
